The Lodge - split over a ground and 1st floor, the lodge can sleep 10/12 in 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor as you enter the property through the main door, one of three entrance doors, you will find the newly fitted open plan kitchen just off a little hall, with a Stoves range style cooker which has electric ovens and grill and a 7 gas burner hob.  There is also an American fridge/freezer, Nespresso machine, microwave, cake mixer and everything else you can possibly think of that you would need.  A small supply of basic cooking ingredients are provided to get you started, until you have time to get to the supermarket and a welcome hamper.

 

The kitchen faces onto the large dining room with Scottish stone chimney breast with log burner and 42" Smart TV, and 8 patio doors that open up to the garden.  There is ample seating in this room for 16 plus people as both the white glass top tables extend.

Upon entering the property through one of the three doors you will find an additional large hall where the Danfoss ground source heating system is stored.  A shower room with toilet is also located in this hall and a utility room with washer/dryer and sink. 

Continue through the hall to a smaller hall where you will see the glass panelled staircase which takes you to the second floor.  Down the hall you will find 3 bedrooms. One adult size bunk bed room with trundle which can use the shower/toilet in the large hall or share a further shower/WC with the Super King room.  The third bedroom is a Super King also and it has it's own en-suite shower room.  All 3 rooms have patio doors that open onto the garden. The en-suite Super King has 2 patio doors. All Super King Rooms can be split to twins if requested.

The first floor can be accessed from the dining room or the little hall in the other wing on the house. Both stair cases are class panelled with the one off the dining room being very wide and open.  This one takes you up to the large open plan lounge with floor to ceiling windows.  You really feel like you are sitting amongst the trees.   The lounge has ample soft seating for all staying in the house and has a chimney breast with log burner and a 52" Smart TV.  

 

From the lounge you can access the Master bedroom/Super King room with en-suite.  This room is the WOW room with the gable end of the building being all glass, a mirror image of the lounge gable end, with it's stone chimney breast with log burner.  The views over the estate are amazing. You will see our tenant sheep and our deer when the rut is on.   We get a stag in August this year so that will be exciting to see.  The en-suite to this room has a very large walk-in shower, free standing bath and double sinks.  From this room you can access the twin room and further glass panneled stair case.  In the hall there is plenty space to hang and put away your clothes, shared with the twin room which is accessed from the top of this stair case.

 

The twin room is a dedicated twin room so can not be used as a super king.  It has an newly fitted en-suite with toilet, sink and free standing bath.

 

The Bothy - is attached to the Lodge by a covered walk way and is all on one level.  Upon entering the main door you will come into a hallway where the large shower room will be on your left. Further down the hall, the next door on the left is the King Size bedroom, with bedside tables and and open hanging unit for clothes on the wall.  Continue down the hall and you will enter the open plan kitchen/diner/lounge.  Everything in the Bothy is new, as it is currently being converted.  The kitchen is fully equipped, with a 70/30 fridge/freezer, electric oven, microwave, gas hob, and a washer/dryer.  There is a glass round dining table for 4 and a corner sofa bed.  You will also be able to watch a 42" smart TV and next to that is a log burner.  At the end of this spacious room are patio doors which will take you out onto a driveway and into the garden.

 

Renovations for both properties are well underway and due to be finished by the mid May.  We are open for bookings from 18th June but may open earlier depending on the arrival of furnishings.
